Massachusetts Web Design Client
Podziba & Associates – Brookline, Massachusetts
Company – Massachusetts web design client Podziba & Associates is a company specializing in public policy mediation and consensus building. Our client, the principal of the company, has been mediating cases involving international relations, environmental disputes, transportation planning and education policy since 1984. Her case list is impressive, including a six-year dialogue on the issue of abortion between Pro-life and Pro-choice leaders; the facilitation of discussions among Israeli and Palestinian health care professionals; a dialogue among steel industry representatives, environmentalists and union representatives; and implementation of a mediation process for members of the Boston Metropolitan Planning Organization – a group composed of 17 government agencies responsible for Boston's central artery project, also known as The Big Dig.
Project – With an array of clients this diverse, Scribble Graphics was presented with a challenge when our client came to us for web design. As a mediator, it was crucial to her business that her clients saw her as a neutral party – not associated with any particular group or set of beliefs. A further challenge was to show her web site's audience that not only did she work locally in Massachusetts, but she also worked nationally and internationally.
Result – When a client's needs are so absolute and specific (and even when they're not), we do not hesitate to do what it takes to get the job done right. In this client's case, we met with her in her Brookline, Massachusetts office where we were better able to get a feel for what she did, her personality and how she works. We were also able to ask more specific questions and get the right answers. In the end, the client's web site project was a complete success. |
